April – May
- Session Start: Beginning of the new academic session for all classes.
- Orientation Programs: Orientation for new students and parents.
- Unit Tests/Periodic Test-1: Usually in the last week of May.
June
- Summer Vacation: In most regions, summer vacation extends from mid-May to the end of June.
July
- School Reopening: Schools reopen post-summer vacation.
- Co-Curricular Activities (CCA): Resumption of CCA and club activities.
- Subject Enrichment Activities: Focus on practicals, projects, and hands-on learning.
August
- Periodic Test-2/Unit Test-2: Usually scheduled mid-August.
- Independence Day Celebration: 15th August celebrations and related activities.
- KVS Foundation Day: Important activities may be held around this time.
September
- Half-Yearly Exams: Conducted in the second half of the month for all classes.
- Teachers’ Day: Celebrations on 5th September.
- PTM: Parent-Teacher Meeting after the half-yearly exam.
October
- Educational Excursions: Usually planned after the half-yearly exams.
- Periodic Tests: Based on syllabus completion.
- Diwali Break: Typically towards the end of the month.
November
- Children’s Day: 14th November is celebrated with various activities.
- Annual Day Preparation: Schools may plan Annual Day rehearsals.
December
- Pre-Board Exams: For Class X and XII students.
- Winter Break: The winter vacation usually begins in the last week of December.
January
- School Reopening Post-Winter Break: Typically in the first week of January.
- Board Practical Exams: For Class XII students.
- Republic Day Celebrations: 26th January celebrations.
February
- Final Preparations for Board Exams: Class X and XII students focus on preparation for final exams.
- Annual Exams for Lower Classes: For Classes I to IX and XI, annual exams preparation begins.
