Vidyanjali

Vidyanjali is an initiative by the Government of India under the Ministry of Education, which aims to enhance the quality of education in schools by encouraging community and private sector participation. Kendriya Vidyalaya Thakkolam, like other KVs, may also participate in the Vidyanjali program to involve individuals, NGOs, and organizations to contribute their time, skills, and resources for the betterment of the school.

1. Volunteer Participation
   Vidyanjali provides a platform for individuals from the community, including parents, alumni, and professionals, to volunteer at the school. They can contribute in several ways:
   • Teaching Support: Volunteers can offer expertise in various subjects, helping students in areas like mathematics, science, languages, or art. This can supplement the regular classroom teaching.
   • Life Skills and Career Guidance: Professionals can conduct workshops on life skills, career counseling, and motivational sessions for students to help them prepare for their future.
   • Extracurricular Activities: Volunteers skilled in sports, music, dance, arts, or crafts can offer their time to organize special classes, workshops, or clubs, enriching the students’ learning experience.
